Hi. can anyone please help with possible options for a long term visa.
Not MM2H, as are not ready for that yet. Are there any other long term options, not involving working, or business?
1 year, multiple entry, visiting friend type visa? Suitable Visa Agent, or apply in Australia...?
I'm australian....

If you are staying for one year you can just take a few holidays from your holiday - visit Bali, Singapore, Krabi, and Angkor Wat. Space the trips out so you aren't in Malaysia for more than 10 or 11 weeks at a stretch. Problem solved. _________________ Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind.

Is it that easy?
What rajulkabir has suggested would be very good news. I'm in a similar position to trustdoc7 and assumed that there would be checks if I simply left Malaysia every 89 days or less and returned to ask for another 90 day visa.
Is it as simpls as rajulkabir has suggested?
Are there any potential glitches or difficulties?
I'd hate to rent a condo for 6 or 9 months and not be able to get back into Malaysia because I was refused a 90 day visa on the second or third return visit. |

I certainly managed it for a year or so without problems. I was based in KL but working in other ASEAN countries so was travelling every week or two.
Nobody at immigration batted an eyelid even though my passport was stuffed full of Malaysia 90 day stamps.
Of course you might be unlucky - but probably not... |

|
|
Hello!
I am new here but so far I have learned in Malaysia is that you need to do things by the book but arround the book. To stay in Malaysia for one year so far I found the best option to get Student visa off course until otherwise you need to do business or something else. It cost around Rm8000 and can be renewed each year with RM3500. I dont know if this information will help but that is the best I know. Becasue I have done it successfully. And now I am trying to get business visa with the same system and connection for the next year.
Regards
